I'm sorry for the late notice to all of you but we wanted to take away any confusion connected with a quarantine of some of our 6th graders. By following a stringent seating arrangement, we were able to limit the number of students who will have to quarantine. If you did not receive a call from the middle school administration today, your child does not have to be quarantined. We made a personal call to all parents of those students who we feel could have potentially been affected. We thank all of you for your continued cooperation and support. Robert Ross

MVSD has applied and been granted Digital Learning Days. 💻 One day per month (two in Oct. to make up for the one missed in Aug.) students will stay home and work virtually. Teachers will be on campus working and making contact with any students who may be struggling. 📞 These days will also allow for a needed deep cleaning of the buildings. 🧼🧹🧽 We appreciate the support and understanding from parents as we continue to try to provide the best education possible for our students! 💙❤️💛

MVMS Change in Virtual Student/Parent Orientation...In order to increase safety measures for all of you who have chosen distance learning as your child's method of delivery, we will be altering our orientation plans. We will keep the same schedule for all class levels; however, instead of gathering in the cafeteria, we will do this in a drive-through fashion much like the schedule pick up for onsite students. Please pull into the parking lot between the central office and the football field. Someone will be waiting for you as you pull toward the Middle School entrance. You will then be directed on where to go for information. Teachers, tech staff, and other employees will be available to answer all your questions and to fulfill all your child's educational needs. We will be posting an example video of what virtual learning will look like on our website on Wednesday, August 19th. Please take the time to view the video which might prompt questions you never thought of previously. Thank you for your cooperation and please know that we are here for you if you have questions or concerns before or after virtual learning begins. We do not want anxiety to bog anyone down...we are all in this together, and we realize the alleviation of undue stress is vital in order for learning to take place. Once again, the times for virtual students/parents to drive through are: 11:00 - 5th Grade; 12:00 - 6th Grade; 1:00 - 7th Grade; and 2:00 - 8th Grade.
