Northeast Arkansas Regional Science Fair Winners! Sixteen students from Timbo High School competed in the 68th Annual Northeast Arkansas Regional Science Fair at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro on March 8th. Heath Reams had the best overall project for the Junior Division and Grady Pitcock placed 4th overall in the Senior Division. Several Students placed in their categories are listed below. Timbo Parents: Timbo FFA has recently participated in the Eastern District CDE contest! Timbos' Land team placed 4th in the eastern district, The team consists of Landon Lewis, Alexander Honeycutt, Mason Gatewood, Braxton Hawkins and Gracie Reny. Individually Landon Lewis placed 3rd overall. Timbos’ Electricity team also competed and they placed 8th place as a team which consists of Alyssa Shellstrom, Joseph Lewis, Jacob Ashley, and Charlie bryant. They will compete at the Arkansas State FFA CDE contest on April 4th and 5th. Timbos’ Forestry team, which also did great at the Eastern District contest placing as a team with 2nd place! The team consists of Dalton Shellstrom, Logan Treadway and Samuel Holley, individually Logan Treadway was a high individual and won a $500 scholarship to ASU Jonesboro. They will compete in the Arkansas State FFA CDE contest on April 12th. Good Luck at State Timbo FFA!

Students in grades 7-10 need to bring their charged chromebook to school daily ready to test. Below are the grades to be tested and the dates and times for their tests: March 4--8th and 10th grade--begin 8:00 am March 5--7th and 9th grade--begin 8:00 am March 7--4th and 6th grade--begin 8:00 am March 8--3rd and 5th grade--begin 8:00 am Please encourage your students to try their hardest and do their very best on the test. Timbo - February 11-17 is National FBLA week. In honor of this Timbo FBLA has planned activities for the week. Starting with today by honoring all our mentors through the years. Timbo FBLA students passed our mentor announcement's and a pop-tart because our teachers and staff are the most poppin' part of our day! Happy Mentor Monday! All students are encouraged to bring loose change on valentines day to raise money for Arkansas Children's hospital.
